You'd be better off staying a Jew than converting to a new religion. The more science progresses, the less we'll need to believe in some faux god/goddess for answers to the unexplainable, since time has proven science has been doing that for centuries.
At least this way if you're still alive when people notice how ridiculous the notion of an omnipresent being is, you can say "Well at least I didn't convert, now I can say I was only religious to make everyone happy!" That's self-preservation right there.

XD
I'm not going to get involved in the religion thing with Shiki, he already thinks my religion is more reasonable, apart from the 'spells'

Mostly out of spite to all the Christys in the bibal belt hell that is my state.
And i only say pagon coz i know nothing about it, therefore i am bound by no rules.

Then you'll never get respect from the community, especially if you're changing religions just to spite people.
Pagans absolutely depise that.

Meh, it doesn't seem like he'll be going to any pagan churches.
...or gatherings, or orgies, or what the hell ever you people do when you congregate.
Point is, I assume just like with basically every other religion, you can have lazy people in it, like Christians who only go to church on Christmas, and occasionally on Easter if they are feeling particularly sanctified that year. And I'm sorry to say, but when someone wants to rebel against Christianity, Paganism is second only to Wicca, which is now the religion for the people even pariahs find odd.
Then again, Satanism has been making a comeback, maybe that's second to Wicca. crap is just getting confusing.

Pagens can hate me all they want, i'm fine with that.
Not going to become a Satanist sorry.
I don't mind pissing people off, but praying to Satan just might get me locked in hell.
So...ya.
And by that, i mean i'll be going by my own religin, but as it doesn't have a name Pagen will work.

Dear tobi(not adding sama cuz your a loser), Not to be nit picky but its spelled 'pagAn' not 'pagEn' pr 'pagOn' I dont spell Jewish or Christian wrong you don't need to spell pagan or paganism wrong either... its respect. Practice it for once.
sincerily,
Preistess Witch B!tch
ok now that is over with..... latly I have been thinking about omnipotent omnipresent beings, and I have come to the conclution they can not exist.... UNLESS they are not just 'humanoid' or 'human like'. in other words for god to actually exist in that since god or goddess would have to be everything not sit up on a cloud and see everything. The only way god can see know and be able to do anything is if god is everything and everyone there for the 3 major religions are wrong on one of their core aspects "that god is singular and is separate from earth". Now if I am correct now god can exist because god is everything and everyone, god can also exist because now god doesn't go against nature or science it is nature and science. so the only way peace will happen in the religion/science war is for these to to come together.
edit: another problem with humans is the need to put god in to a box. god is male, white, old and on top of a cloud. We ask "can god make a object that not even he himself can move?" and then we get in to this whole discussion. One of my teachers said "No god can not he can only do things do-able" but then who decides do-able? I say yes god can make a object that he himself can not move, then if he wanted to move it all he has to do is make it move able again. its not that tough of a question. you can put god in a box.
I hope some one stayed with me.. lmao

PROTIP: Satanist don't actually worship Satan, although I do agree it is a poor choice of name. They're one of the better religions in that in the traditional sense, they do not believe in a god, and believe everyone should live by their own morals and desires, as long as they do not impose on or hurt others livelihoods.
Of course, you shouldn't need to form a goddamn religion to know this, so I still consider them sub-human.
At this point in our modern era, it simply boils down to: How much excuses and outlandish explanations must people come up with before they notice that their beliefs are totally devoid of logic and any form of sense? It was easy to believe in the notion of a god in early times, when people believed lightning and thunder was god PMSing, and having sexual relations with sheep while donkey punching your first born wasn't a taboo, but we no longer need to construct a god in our image to strike fear into ourselves and make us behave. Hell, if we can get the go ahead with cloning, that's one step closer to imperfect immortality, just how much more does science have to prove.
