(continuation of Rocket HQ. Essentially, Ryu, Arc, Kurth, Giovanni, and Mewthree have been warped to an alternate dimension. Yeah, I don't get it either. Closed. By the way, Ryu curses a bit here. Don't be offended.)
In the flash of white light very well described in Ninja's last post, Ryu landed with an 'oomph' on what seemed to be ground. At least, it felt like ground. But it wasn't. It was a grey and white dimension, with the two colours spinning endlessly in each other. Ryu quickly stood up, helping Kurth up. Kurth called his Froslass back, who was completely knocked out. Arc also rose.
"What the screw?" was Ryu's first sentence.
"I second this emotion." Kurth stated, looking around. "It seems the clash of the two Destiny Bonds borught about a portal to an alternate dimension somehwere between the realms of Arcues and Giratina."
"I can't decide if you're religious or scientific." Ryu muttered. Mewthree suddenly arose as well and fired a blast that hit Ryu in the chest. He was knocked back, however, he didn't hit a wall, instead floating back and eventually coming back to where he was standing.
"I repeat: what the screw?"

"Like a leaf, on a gentle autumn breeze.........." Arc heard the words repeating throughout his mind, in a monotone sequence. He wasn't falling anymore, but he could still picture the falling sensation in these words across his retinas.
"Poliiii!"
The image faded, like dust in the wind. Arc was suddenly very aware of his position, and of the fact that his eyes were still closed. He was laying on a surface of some sort, on his back.
"A gentle autumn breeze...." the thought sent a malignant shiver down Arc's spinal cord. He shook it off and struggled to open his eyes, but they seemed to refuse his conscience. "Ugh, that flash......my eyes......" He could do nothing currently, but wait.
"Breeze......." "Wha?" "Echoes of slience..." "Who's there?" "............." "Answer me!" --------------------------------
"Uhhhhnnnnn......." "Poliiiii!" "Fairy!"
Arc's eyes were opened, and he got his first glimpse of chaos.
Dizzily, he rose to his feet and spotted the others around him. He put a hand to his forehead. It was all just too much to take in at once.
The surroundings were quite "vaguely defined". Everything was amorphous, and never stayed in one form definitely. Color, texture, aesthetics, all varied from one moment to the next.
(Don't worry, I'm not contradicting you ^^)

Arc felt light-headed. Something was wrong here. He thought that he had seen Ryu attacked by Mewthree, but in the blink of an eye he was back where he had been standing earlier.
"Apparently time has no value here........I guess." He thought, and this rebounded further into a million new conjectures and theories ricocheting in his psyche. "Oooomph!" Suddenly he was winded, and laying on the floor again.
Arc fainted and gradually lost consciousness, for what it was worth in the current realm. ------------------------------------------- When Arc awoke, his eyes slid open easily this time. He had no idea why this was relevant, or where this thought even spawned from.
The second thing he realized was that he was alone.

(OOC: Alone as in no people or no anything?)
"Ryu, Arc just blinked in and out of existence. I don't think dimension makes sense." Kurth stated, while Ryu's Metagross and Kurth's Flygon fought off Mewthree.
"That...that can't be good..." Ryu said. "Do you think a fruit basket would be enough to apologize to his family? And where's Giovanni anyway?"
Suddenly, as Kurth stated his answer, Ryu felt a huge burst of energy as he shifted his entire mass. He fell to the bottom of the dimension and lost consciousness.
~
Ryu awoke...somewhere. He was completely alone, except for the Pokemon in his PokeBalls. He started to wonder around, his head feeling dizzy.
"Nidoking, Earthquake!"
Ryu suddenly felt a tremor underneath him, and he flew up into the air. "How the hell-"
Getting back up, Ryu looked around and saw Giovanni and his Nidoking attacking.
"Meddlesome agent." Giovanni stated. "When will you learn you're a pest to me?"
"Giovanni." Ryu retorted. "I've been waiting for this day for a long time." He threw out a Pokeball. "Go Roserade!"
There was a small face-off for a few seconds, and Nidoking and Roserade, jumped at each other...
"Sucker Punch!"
"Petal Dance!"
~
Kurth looked around. He had sworn he had just seen Ryu a few minutes ago, but now he was gone.
"Erm..." Kurth sweatdropped. He was now the only one facing Mewthree.
"Stupid Murphy's Law..." he muttered. "Flygon, Sandstorm! Uh...Metagross...will you listen to me?" Metagross roared in agreement. "Alright then, use Bullet Punch!"

"What's going on?!" All of this was just too much to handle in so short a time period. Arc wanted to crawl into a corner and lay there for eternity, until he realized that this place probably had no "corners". The thought seemed to cheer him up a little. A little solace in a mass of confusion. Even though it was based on irrationality, the solid fact was a glimmer of hope.
He surveyed his surroundings once more, and noted that they had changed. He was now in a swirling mass of "grey matter". There was no apparent floor, yet he could walk as if gliding on air. He did a slow 360 to see if anything else was here besides the drab background. He finished his circle rather disappointed, but then noticed a small dot in the distance that hadn't been there before. "Hmm? Well, there's nothing else to try, so why not?" Arc began his trek towards the faint dot.
For what time was worth here, Arc could have sworn he had been walking for at least half an hour Earth time, yet the dot still quivered in the distance, as faint as it had been when he had started walking. He looked to the ground in agony. "Ugh, this is fruitless! You gotta give me something!" He had no idea who or what he was talking to, but out of the corner of his eye, a subtle ripple in the grey matter. "Hunh?" He looked up again.
A singular, polished, oaken door stood before him. He had on what he believed to be was a puzzled expression, but with no one else around to see it, he wondered whether or not it existed. He quickly shook off this thought and placed his hand on the doorknob. A hesitant twist, "creeeeeeaaaak"......... ----------------------------------------------- He found himself in a metallic hallway, again, alone. He called for Ryu, Tiedro, Pippin, Kurth. No response. Only shadows in their places. He walked down the hallway, eventually coming to a row of prison cells. "I've been here before......but something's not right, something seems out of place........." He glanced inside one of the cells.
A shadow rested within. Something sinister lurking behind green eyes, one with a scar across it. Arc staggered backwards, only to collide with another shadow. He spun around, this time facing a blue eyed shadow sporting a rocket suit. Handcuffs were on his wrists behind his back. Other shadows arose, spawned from the darkness.
Arc didn't belong here.
He ran from them, the empty vessels. He had sensed a dark desire emanating from their direction. Sprinting down the maze of hallways, he arrived at a door with a large, Shadow "R" on it. He glanced back, and the shadows returned his gaze. His wrists were suddenly freed, and he kicked open the door........ --------------------------------------- A blinding light, then the absence of light. A maze of conveyors, and still Arc ran. The Shadow dogs were after him, he could sense it. A corner, a dead end. And then a small metal crawlspace. He came to a vent, looked down upon a room littered with shadows. A flick of the wrist, one shadow down by the whim of another. In a heartbeat he was upon them, by no intention of his own. He spotted a door across the room, a small, sliding, metal escape.......... --------------------------------------- A rainbow of light, refracted by nothingness. A haunted foyer, a grim chandelier. He climbed the grand staircase, entered an adjacent room. A room littered with dilapidated gravestones, that began to burst and erupt as the shadows flew forth. He broke through them all, making towards the spiral staircase. Another shadow behind him, he pushed his body to continue running. A room with a presence. An amorphous presence, sinister ghost. A broken window, falling......
A leaf on an autumn breeze....... ----------------------------------------------- An enormous underground mirror, a pool of glass, shattered by a shadow, tainted unto itself. Ripples across the surface. Stalagmites reaching for to snatch, Stalactites falling for to crush. The whole entirety threatening to implode upon itself with a giant breath. A cave-in behind. More shadows from the darkness, forged from nothing. Darkness above, beyond, behind, underfoot. Swallowing, devouring ravenously............. --------------------------------------------
A gentle autumn breeze sent small waves across the idyllic Lake Rage. Stirring up mischievousness, it plucked the golden, aged leaves from their vantage points, and carried them softly to the soil from whence they emerged.
Arc's first coinscious thought in a while.
"This is the stuff of nightmares."

(OOC:Just in case you didn't get the last post, look at Arc's history and at his adventure so far You're supposed to figure it out on your own though, that's the exciting part of reading =P) Arc again sensed that he didn't belong here, and that it was all too familiar, but yet different. As if he was viewing a certain circumstance from a different point of view. Shadows roamed the Earth's surface, but this time, they took no notice of him. The usual crowd were dispersed around the lake as he had last remembered it. Lovers, come for a private escape; children, come to play and frolic; scientists, come to study the lake's properties. The breeze seemed so real, yet simultaneously felt so hollow and unfulfilling. Another glance around, and Arc saw a shadow of Pryce standing near the Lake's Surface. Wait, Pryce? He remembered that Pryce used to visit the Lake of Rage when he felt tension mounting.......but this made no sense at all...... A gentle autumn breeze..........whistling through the branches.......... Pryce stepped away from the lake, and started to return to Mahogany Town. Arc was puzzled beyond logic. This could not be happening. He started to follow Pryce back to Mahogany Town, but was stopped in his tracks when he made a startling discovery. Coming from the Town was another person who he hadn't expected to see. A small boy, with pale emerald eyes, silver hair and golden streaks running throughout..... It was a shadow of a slightly younger version of himself. Arc was in a sense of stupor. For a tense moment, he locked eyes with his shadow, but then his shadow walked straight past him, as if he was only a fickle thought, winding in and out of existence. His shadow beckoned another shadow, that of Tiedro. And then Arc noticed the silence. It had always been silent, hadn't it? Adrenaline had repulsed this thought from his mind earlier, but now that he was thinking in a relatively straight manner, he realized that there was no sound. No jolity, no anger, no excitement, no beauty. The shadows: lovers, children, scientists, fish, friends, foes, all quiescent. His shadow self had begun to swim across the lake with Tiedro, something that he remembered had been forbidden when he had lived in Mahogany....... Arc finally realized what seemed obvious from the start. He was what what he felt was out of place. This was not where Arc belonged. This was why everyone was a shadow to him, why there was no sound, no feeling. He must be in some sort of parallel universe to his own! Suddenly, Arc sensed an eerie frequency nearby, disturbing all around it, dementing, distorting........mutating. It seemed to be coming from Mahogany....... The breeze abruptly stopped. All was still, suspended in forever, motionless, effortless, quiet, comatose, dead! A single moment. A million horrors. The lake began to vibrate madly, but not the lake, no. It was the fish. Bubbles sprang to the surface as the Lake of Rage began to seethe and simmer with the insanity and fervor of a thousand aqueous bodies. Gyarados sprang from the depths, sending gargantuan waves hurtling across the surface, dwarving those that had been made by the wind and the child in the water. The child in the water. And then it hit him. This was not some parallel universe, or even a parallel dimension! What Arc was viewing were, in essence, his own memories. The first few had been distorted, but this one seemed to be normal. Arc realized the magnitude of what was taking place here. He had been here before. From a different point of view......... He knew what was about to happen, and sure enough, to his memory and agony, Pryce came running from the route connecting Mahogany to the lake. He rapidly spotted Arc floundering in the water, sturggling in vain for life. Tiedro had been washed ashore by the enormous waves, and was about to try and rescue Arc when he was detained by Pryce. Pryce dove into the chaos and valiantly made his way towards the pitiful life form. He arrived, and stoically carried Arc towards the shore. Onlookers rushed to Arc's aid, and just when they had gotten a hold of him, disaster struck. A massive Gyarados, its scales a magnificent hue of radiant blood, emerged from the water behind Pryce. It gave a large yell and dove upon him, dragging him down, down, down, down! Down............to where all were blind and could not see, down to the very end! Pryce was never seen nor heard from again. "Noooooooooooo!" For the first time since these nightmares began, Arc's voice carried out. For a moment the crowd gathered around the child glanced up, only to return their attention to the whithered boy. Across time, space, and dreams, pain was universally understood by all. Death and sorrow were apparent, suffusing like darkness across entity. A gentle autumn breeze sprung up again, carrying all the burdens of those present, both in spirit and in memory.

Roserade and Nidoking clashed in the center of the battlefield, filling it with smoke. The two were both knocked back, skidding on the nonexistent floor.
"Fissure!"
"Dodge, use Magical Leaf!"
Nidoking slammed the ground with its foot, and Roserade dodged the coming blast and fired a set of leaves at Nidoking. Nidoking braced itself and the leaves hit its hard shell.
"Now Sunny Day!"
A large light shone overhead, glaring down on the battlers.
"Weather Ball!"
Roserade charged up a ball of energy from the light, and fired it at Nidoking.
"Catch it!" Nidoking caught the ball of explosive energy, and crushed it between its hands. "Now Megahorn!"
The Megahorn hit Roserade directly for a large amount of damage, and Roserade was knocked back, unconscious.
"Crap." Ryu said, calling back Roserade. "Come on, Walrein!"
Walrein emerged from its PokeBall. "Use Hail!" The hail that began falling from the grey and white sky contradicted the now-fading light, and it hit Nidoking with several chunks of ice. "Now Blizzard!" Walrein took the falling ice out of the air, and shot them at Nidoking. Nidoking braced himself, but was knocked back and was defeated.
"Tch." muttered Giovanni. "Persian!"
The white cat jumped out of its Pokeball and into the battlefield. The winner was still not yet clear.
~
Kurth's Flygon dodged yet another blast from Mewthree, aerial flipping to the side. The sandstorm slowed it down slightly, but it would be nearly impossible to defeat.
"I hate being alone," Kurth complained, as Flygon got nailed by a blast.

Arc found himself on the floor, yet again. He could feel the fresh tear marks on his cheeks as he lay in self-pity and sorrow. Something was gently whipping his face as he sat up, and he noticed that it was a sandstorm. Nearby were Tiedro and Pippin, who had been waiting for him to come back. Tiedro looked a bit peeved about the sandstorm, but Pippin wasn't harmed by it because of her magic guard ability. He embraced them both tightly until he heard a large blast in the background.
Kurth, Flygon and Metagross were struggling against Mewthree, trying in vain to defeat it.
"I wonder.....maybe it hasn't sensed us yet....."
"Tiedro, belly drum! Pippin, Gravity!"
Whilst Tiedro was banging ferociously on his stomache, Pippin intensified gravity to several times its normal effectiveness. Arc really had no idea what this would do in an alternate dimension, but he had decided to give it a try anyways.
"Now Pippin, Metronome while Mewthree is off guard! You too Tiedro, use Body Slam!"

(Pfft, this sounds like something out of a 90's soap opera)
"Arc! Great to see you!" Kurth said as Arc's Pokemon hit. "You actually hit the thing!" Mewthree was shaken, but not out. It got back up with a mighty roar, and fired numerous psychic bullets at the Arc's Pokemon. "Flygon, grab them and get out of there!" Flygon flew at top speed and picked up the two mini Pokemon; however, it was hit dead on. "Flygon!"
Kurth withdrew Flygon and took out another PokeBall. "Dragonite!" Dragonite came out. (xP) "Use Dragon Claw!" Dragonite rushed at Mewthree, and it raised its hand...
~
Persian left back with a growl. Battered and bruised, it continued to fight the giant walrus. The hail had since faded. "Walrein! Use Surf!" Walrein created a tidal wave, which swept up Persian, knocking it out.
Giovanni reached for another PokeBall. "Kangeskhan! Dizzy Punch!"
Kangeskhan hit Walrein dead on, and it fainted.
"Damn...go, Blaziken!" Blaziken emerged, erupted in flames.
"Comet Punch!"
"Sky Uppercut!"
Kangeskhan and Blaziken hit each at the same time. Exhanging blow after blow, eventually, they skid back, charging up DBZ style.
"Dizzy Punch!"
"Blaze Kick!"
They leaped at each other, the blows contacting at just the right spot. It was a simultaneous knockout.
"Here it is...the last battle." Ryu said. "This is where you pay."
"Tsk, tsk, Ryu. I always knew you would've made a great Rocket."
"What are you talking about?"
"You've always been big on battle, ever since you were little."
"What are you talking about?"
"Well, to quote a favorite movie of mine...I am your uncle!"
"What?"
"I am your father's brother! Aren't you supposed to be intelligent?"
"You bastard! You killed your own brother?"
"He was...a loss. But there was something more important to it..."
"What are you talking about?"
"You'll never find out...Rhyperior!"
"Urgh...Salamence!"
"Rhyperior, Stone Edge!"
"Dragon Claw!"
Rhyperior threw dozens of sharp stone rocks at Salamence, but it dodged and instead knocked its claw right into Rhyperior's armour. Barely a dent could be seen.
"Ha! Good luck piercing the armour! Stone Edge!" These stones hit dead-on, and knocked Salamence back quite a bit.

(OOC: ~Ryu......I AM YOUR UNCLE!!! ~NOOOOOOOOO!! *Pshew! Lightsaber suicide* Lol, can you find the FFX Reference?)
Dragonite bravely attacked Mewthree, and managed to get in a fierce blow on it before Mewthree overcame the Gravity and repelled it back with a psychic burst.
"No time to party now! We have to come up with a strategy to kill this thing! I think I may have a plan!"
"Pippin, Metronome! Tiedro, Endure, then Endeavor!"
Arc felt a slight rumbling in his pack, and wondered what it was that was making a ruckus.
When he opened his pack, he noticed that the rock he had picked up earlier-in Mt.Moon-was aglow. As he held it in his hand it began to mutate and change shape. "Hunh?" What's going on?
"Omanyte!" "Wha? I guess that must have been a fossil of some sort! And the time rift here......I'm not even going to try and think about it. I'll name you Spira!" He had a small chuckle to himself before getting back to the battle.
"Spira, use Bite!"

(OOC: Spira? xD)
Salamence was knocked back, but wasn't out yet. Unfortunately, Rhyperior wasn't done yet. It fired several more stones at Salamence.
"Salamence! DO A BARREL ROLL!" Salamence spun around, and the rocks were deflected by its wings.
"And now...I got my revenge. Salamence....time for that."
Salamence began to glow. "This is for all the people you've hurt...all the families you've broken apart...and for my father!" Salamence swung it's head back and roared.
"DRACO METEOR!"
Thousands upon thousands of meteors began to fall from the sky, all crashing into Rhyperior. It was knocked back, before becoming unconscious.
Ryu walked up to Giovanni. "Game over, bastard." Ryu raised his hand, and struck down with a powerful force. Shaking. Ryu warped back to the major fight at hand.
(Oh my God! He killed Giovanni!)

(OOC: ROFL at the Barrel Roll! Starfox 64 FTW!)
Tiedro braced itself and managed to survive an attack from Mewthree, and then countered with Endeavor, but Mewthree used Recover and regained the lost HP.
Pippin's metronome turned out to be Mist, and the whole area was drenched in a thick fog. Arc barely noticed that Ryu had returned until he heard Salamence give a mighty roar.
Spira quickly took the opportunity and jumped at Mewthree from the fog cover. Caught unawares, the Bite hit it for a small amount of damage.

"Salamence! Flamethrower!" the flame knocked Mewthree's focus away from the newborn Omanyte and instead directed it at Ryu.
Mewthree waved its hand and fired a blast of energy.
"Dragonite! Use Thunderbolt!" The bolt directed the energy away from Ryu.
"Thanks for the save, Kurth!"

(OOC: I have an idea! Pippin = HAX)
Arc gritted his teeth in frustration. "We're never gonna kill this thing, but we have to keep trying!" As he spoke, a wave of psychic energy blew away the Mist.
"Pippin, Metronome! Tiedro, Hypnosis! Spira, Water Gun!"
Arc watched as Tiedro's Hypnosis failed again, Mewthree was just too strong-willed.
Then something strange happened. Pippin's Metronome had a very strange effect upon Mewthree. Somehow, it seemed to weaken it. "Hunh? I don't get it! What did metronome do?"
Spira's Water Gun launched at Mewthree, and to Arc's surprise, it seemed to do a bit of damage to it. Mewthree flinched from the hit.
"Of course, Metronome became Guard Swap! Now, while Mewthree is weak, everyone, CHARGE!"
Tiedro blew a jet of bubbles, Pippin ran for a Doubleslap, and Spira shot a bunch of mud, all aimed at Mewthree.

"Salamence!"
"Dragonite!"
"Double Draco Meteor of death!"
"Ryu, next time, I say the attack. I mean, 'double Draco Meteor Attack of Death?" Kurth sighed. "It'll have to do."
The both began to glow, and the two Draco Meteors bombarded Mewthree.
The dimension promptly exploded.
