(OOC: One year since 'Making Tracks')
Prelude: (5 months earlier) Shad pushed the food around his plate with his fork. His big homecoming had been a little underwhelming. Not much had changed in Kanto since he'd been away. He hadn't been looking forward to returning to his home town, and didn't spend long there. The only people he visited where Nurse Joy, and the elderly couple who used to live next door to him. Everyone was in that weird state of semi-sadness, all remembering the tradgedy. Mostly they talked about Shads own exploits. He had been about to leave when, quietly, the old man had presented him with a bag, bearing the initials G.D. His fathers bag.
Shad nodded, solemnly thanking him, then left. He knew that this was something he'd rather look through on his own. He settled himself on a bench on the bridge, opened the bag and looked inside. There wasn't much there. Some photographs, which he stored inside his bag, some money, which he kept hold of, the keys to the burned down house, and then, at the very bottom, a pokeball. Shad froze. He had assumed that all of his parents pokemon had perished with them, yet here was one that was alive, a living link between him and his parents. He pulled it out.
Attached was a small note of paper, and written in his fathers handwriting were the words 'For Alasdair'. This pokemon had been a gift for him from his parents. He had always thought that his parents didn't want him to go off on the typical pokemon adventure, hence why they had never given him a pokemon. That was why he hunted the Legend Templars, he wanted to make his parents proud. Now he had found that they wanted to give him a pokemon after all, and he kenw that he had their blessing for his travels. His journey had more purpose now.
What the pokemon represented had made him almost totally forget that he didn't know what it was, and that it had been cooped up inside a pokeball for at least a year, it wouldn't be very healthy. Then, Shad saw that on the note, in a different style, were written the words 'we took care of him'. The elderly couple must've cared for this pokemon in his absence. He released the pokemon. There was a loud roar, 'Gaaabite!'. A Gabite stood before him, shaking itself off and limbering up.
'Hello Gabite, my name is Shad. I am your master.'
Gabite was suspicious at first. Then it leaned closer to him. It was just about the same height as Shad. Gabite sniffed him, then contemplated. Finally, Gabite cheered gleefully and waited for orders.
Present: Shad arrived at the big new Stadium. It was surprising to see such an impressive structure out here, near Cerrulean. The grand opening tournament was attracting trainers from every region. Shad was going to test himself against the best. His pokemon were ready, he'd grown closer with them, and they'd grown stronger. Charmeleon, Lapras, Aerodactyl, Flygon, Houndour and Gabite. All of them ready to give their all for him. Shad opened the door, and walked up to the desk to register.
---------------------------------------------------------
Fal had been looking forward to this tournament for ages. Ever since Winona had told him about it, he'd been training. Winona wanted him to represent her gym at the tournament, saying he was the best member of the gym.
Fal flew there on Gliscor, arriving in Cerrulean a day early. He spent the night camping outside the stadium, with Skarmory and Tropius for company. The next morning, he was among the first to register his pokemon team of 5 for the tournament.

"Cya everyone!" Shouted Haz, in a hurry, to his parents and sister, as he climbed on to his Charizard, "Let's go Charizard, fast as you can!" He continued, he was leaving it late, he only had another 15 minutes until sign up close. Haz was entering a battle tournement in Cerulean City, and was eagerly anticipating taking on the most skilled trainers around the globe. This would be a great test for all of his Pokemon; the newly evolved, newly captured, as well as his long serving ones. Haz's confidence was high, he knew he had great Pokemon in his current party and others in storage that he could call on at any time.
Haz arrived in Cerulean City in under 5 minutes, creating quite a scene with him arriving by Charizard! Luckily he made a perfect landing! He returned Charizard to his Pokeball and rushed in side to the sign up desk,
"Please don't say I'm too late!" He said frantically to the receptionist, "No, no, your just in time." She replied, leaning slightly back, she was obviously quite taken back by the manner of Haz's speech, "Oh, thank goodness," He said as his voice returned to normal speed, "Okay, I just need some ID." "Okay," Said Haz, as he reached into his pocket and produced a special kind of Pokedex that was given to him by the chairman of the Pokemon League, only for Elite Four trainers. "Wow, said the receptionist." If never seen a Pokedex like that. Haz explained his situation. The receptionist was quite overwelled by his story and finally wished him the best of look for tomorrow.
With that out of the way, Haz went outside and found a nice quite spot to relax and think about tactics and what his first team should be tomorrow.

Shad was enjoying his night before the tournament. Most of the other trainers entering would have to camp out, but he was staying with his old friend Bill. Bill had been most impressed with his pokemon, and Shad was intrigued by all his new inventions. Most of them didn't work, but it was fun all the same.
The next morning, he took the short walk back the contest hall, and arrived bright and early feeling refreshed, and greeting all the trainers who had spent the night outside on the floor. All kinds of trainers had come. Young, old, experienced, new. From the pokemon he could see, he thought that there weren't many species that weren't represented here. He entered the contest hall and went up to the desk.
'I'm entrant number 0372.'
The receptionist smiled, looked at a list on a computer screen then said 'You're in Group D. Please go to Room 7 to wait for your battle.'
Shad thanked her, then walked into the designated room. Before he went in, he thought he spotted some bright blue hair that he recognised, but he didn't know why. Inside the room, he could see the other trainers in his group. Some were kids, others were elderly. None looked too threatening. He greeted them all, then sat down in one of the chairs around the outside, waiting for the receptionist to come and get them for their battles.
---------------------------
Fal wasn't listening to the receptionist as she told him his group. He'd just seen the black, whtie and red hair of Shad. So he was here, then. Fal thought he might be. He decided not to tell Shad he was here, hopefully he'd be able to surprise him. To the receptionist he said 'Sorry, what Group am I in?'
The receptionist sighed, then said 'Group I'
'Thanks,' he said, then he strolled off to find his waiting room.

"Thanks girls," Said Haz as he left the Cerulean Gym, he'd stayed the night there and would continue to do so until the tournement was over- it good thing that he knew all of the gym leaders thanks to his involvement with the Elite Four; better than camping out!
Haz only had a short walk to the stadium, where today he'd be given his group number and then the top trainers from each group would progress to the knock out stage.
"Morning," Haz said happily to the receptionist, as he handed over his Pokedex, "Hello Haz," She replied cheerfully, "Okay; thats... Group A for you, just down this hall and the first left," She informed, pointing the way. "Okay great, thank you."
Haz walked over to the hall way, and he was sure he had spotted someone he reckonised with blue hair, 'I know that hair, but I can't put a name to it,' he thought as he entered the door with 'A' on the front. In the room there were 3 trainers, 2 of them looked really nervous, biting their nails and such, but there was one boy that looked quite calm, holding a Pikachu; Haz went and sat down next to him in the spare seat. He was still trying to think of the name of the blue haired kid, when, just then, it came to him;
"Fal!" He said out loud. "Oh, sorry!" He had made the other people jump, except for the Pikachu who giggled.

Shad had only been sat for around 10 minutes when the receptionist slowly entered the room, brandishing a piece of paper. Everyone fell silent and stared at her. She cleared her throat, then announced
'Welcome to the Tournament! You are Group D. You will compete with eachother for only 2 places in the knock-out stages.' At this, a lot of the trainers seemed quite worried. They looked around, working out how many would not make it. 2 of them would fail to qualfify. The woman went on. 'Can you please use this sheet to find your battles. The battles are 1v1, 3 pokemon each.' She pinned the sheet to the wall. Everyone immediately gathered around it.
When Shad finally got close enough, he could see the list of matches. Scanning down to the first group of matches, he saw he was against a trainer named Belle. No sooner had he discovered this than there was a girly cry of 'Oh God, who's Shad! I'll bet he's really good. I knew it, I knew it, I knew I would lose. Now I'll have to go all the way back home and tell my parents that I lost, how will I ever tell them? I won't be able to go outside because of the shame. Then I won't be able to eat, how will I eat? I'll die because I won't be able to eat.' At this point, the womans hysteric ranting went beyond the frequency that humans can hear. The receptionist calmed her down, and pointed out that she's not even battled yet.
Panic attacks over, the group were lead to a large lift. Shad saw the receptionist press a button that said 'Floor 2 - Rough Terrain'. He liked the sound of that.
-------------------------------------
Fal was talking to one of the trainers in his group when the receptionist came. It turned out that he was to battle the trainer he had been talking to first. That gave him an edge. He knew all about this guys pokemon, and yet was keeping some of his own a secret, for now. He followed the receptionist to a grand lift. The receptionist pressed a button and it whirred into life. It didn't take long to reach their destination. A voice said 'Basement - Silent Battles'. They were led out of the elevator and down a corridor, then in their battling pairs directed into different rooms.
The battle room Fal found himself in was strange. A simple arena, with two booths with windows, one at either end. He and his opponent were told to go in opposite ends and shut the door. Inside, Fal realised what they meant by silent battles. The whole place was soundproof. There was a little slot for his pokeballs. He put one in, then shut it. There was a countdown on a screen above him. Then the balls were rocketed into the arena and the pokemon released. Skarmory stood against a Hitmonlee.

The receptionist Haz had spoke to entered the room, only a couple of minutes after Haz had sat down. She spoke to the four trainers about how the tournement would work and read out the order of play.
"Ash will be battling Emily first, and Jimmy, you'll be taking on Haz." She said, and then pinned up the remaining fixtures on the wall. Haz was quitely confident, although he had never heard of this person, he knew he was a good battler and this tourement was the chance to show everyone worldwide.
Haz was told to take the lift with the receptionist along with his opponent.
The lift stopped 'Double Floor' it stated; the three of them walked out. "Wow," Said the two trainers, it was a state of the art battle arena with a score board with spaces for the pictures of the trainers and their chosen Pokemon. The receptionist told them to ready themselves and take their places. The judge, holding a red flag and a green flag, walked on, and placed himself in the middle of the battlefield.
Haz and Jimmy's faces appeared on the screen, Haz's colour was red, Jimmy's colour was green.
"Trainers, this is a double battle, you will both only use 2 Pokemon, no substitutions and no time limit; let the battle begin!"

Shad was pushed into a room with Belle. It was a medium sized pokemon arena, with a floor that was made of sand. Shad took his position at one end, Belle at the other.
'Go, Gabite!'
Gabite growled patiently, standing in the sand. Belle sent out her first pokemon, a Pachirisu. Easy enough for Gabite to handle.
'Pachirisu, Spark!' Before the Pachirisu could attack, there was a rumbling noise. It started getting louder. The pokemon and their trainers looked at eachother, confused. Suddenly, the ground tore up, shifting into bizarre landscapes. Pachirisu took cover, while Gabite stood tall through the sands. When the ground eventually calmed down, Pachirisu couldn't see Gabite. It appeared that Gabite had been swallowed under the sand. Belle looked nervous. Shad smiled.
'Gabite, Earthquake!'
The ground shook again. Sand dunes collapsed, pulling Pachirisu under. Gabite burst out from the sand and stood proudly on the battlefield once more.
'Pachirisu!' cried out Belle.
'Gabite, bring Pachirisu back.' said Shad.
Gabite dove into the sand, and came flying out, clutching Pachirisu in its jaws, then dropped it before Belle. Pachirisu was out. A voice came over the PA.
'Pachirisu is down! What will Belle do next?'
Belle's next two pokemon were handled just as easily as Pachirisu. Gabite took them down ruthlessly. After the battle, Shad was taken with Belle back to the room. There was a table filled with food and items for healing pokemon. Shad took a PP Restore and a pokeblock for Gabite, then sat down and waited for the next battle.

"Okay, double battle; not what I had in mine but fine. Charizard & Umbreon go!" "Swampert & Dusknoir I choose you!"
Haz was impressed by the kid, he must have put in a lot of work to raise them both, but Haz had worked hard too, he wasn't going to give them any mercy.
"Begin!" Shouted the judge.
"Okay, Charizard Sunny Day, Umbreon Confuse Ray on Swampert." The area became very warm, although they weren't outside the effects of Sunny Day were still in play.
"Dusknoir, Willo-Wisp on Umbreon quick; Swampert try earthquake." Luckily Umbreon's Confuse Ray hit home before Swampert could move, Swampert was in cloud cuckoo. However, Dusknoir had its chance to land its status attack and it was about to hit Umbreon and badly burn it when suddenly,
"Charizard quick, get infront of Umbreon!" Charizard spread its wings and stood firm. Amazing, the Willo-Wisp hit Charizard and did nothing, "Great work Charizard." But Haz had forgotten about Swampert; it had managed to shake off the its confusion and was about to use Earthquake. "Charizard get ready to fly! Now Umbreon!" Charizard took to the air, circled and flew in just above the ground allowing Umbreon to hitch a ride. Jimmy looked shocked.
"No way..."
"Now, Solorbeam Charizard,"
"Quick, both of you dodge it!" Jimmy cried,
"No way, Umbreon, Psychic!" With that, the solorbeam was split and curved towards the two Pokemon. Critical hit.
"Dusknoir and Swampert are unable to battle, the winner of this double battle is Haz from Viridian City."

Fal hadn't expected anything like this. He only hoped Skarmory could remember the moves he usually told it to do.
Hitmonlee went first, throwing itself into Hi Jump Kick. It hit Skarmory head on. Skarmory simply shook it off. Then launched Spikes around the other teams feet. Fal smiled, Skarmory had remembered what to do.
The other trainer got Hitmonlee to try again. This time Hitmonlee missed the attack and collided harshly with a wall. Skarmory used Aerial Ace, and hit Hitmonlee as it was on the ground. It struggled to stand up again. Skarmory used Aerial Ace agains traight away, which finished it off. The next pokemon was a Plusle. It came tumbling out of the pokeball into the spikes. Skarmory used Roost, recovering health. It underestimated Plusle, who used Thunder, causing massive damage. Fal tapped on the window tot ry and give it more orders but Skarmory didn't hear. It tried to use Aerial Ace, but it was too slow, and Plusle finished it off with another Thunder. Fal picked up his next pokeball, and whispered some orders in advance to Gliscor. When Gliscor got onto the field, Fal's plan worked perfectly. Plusle tried to use Quick Attack, which did very little damage. Gliscor used Earthquake and took out Plusle. The trainers final pokemon was Swellow. Gliscor grinned, it already kenw what to do. Swellow used Aerial Ace, which stung a little, but Gliscor struck back with Stone Edge, which floored Swellow. The battle was over. Fal had won.

After his first battle Haz returned to the waiting room and thanked his partner for the battle and waiting around for the other 2 trainers to return. Haz's battle had only lasted a matter of minutes and it was a shock to the receptionist when see saw them return so soon.
Whilst waiting Haz, the judge from the battle had uploaded the footage and result from the battle and it was being played on the tv set which turned out was live on the big screen outside the Stadia. One the result was in the Group A table was updated, Haz was sat on the top now and it made him feel even better.
It was opproximately another 10 minutes after Haz's battle when the other couple returned. Ash had beaten Emily and he now topped the pile by alphabetical order. Haz knew this guy must be tough, and then it struck him; it was Ash Ketchum. Lance had briefly mentioned him at the Pokemon League before Haz started his journey; he now, more than ever, realised what he was up against in the competition.
The next fixture saw Haz taking on Emily in the Silence Room; and after they had healed their Pokemon, they took the lift- this time to the very bottom.
It was a strange room, completely different to the last. The name was certainly fitting, Pokemon and trainer cut off from one another. The battle was longer this time and a lot tougher. Haz started off with Gyarados because they usually do what they want anyway, but Haz's didn't normally, however it seemed to enjoy the freedom. Haz decided before releasing it from its ball only to say one sentance, "Enjoy, and do your best." And that's just what it did. Although it seemed to be obsessed about using Hydro Pump on Bellosom, it still managed to beat it none the less.
The second Pokemon Emily used was an Electric Pokemon, Raichu. Haz preyed for Gyarados to use earthquake, but instead it used Hydro Pump again! Although not supereffective like Earthquake, Hydro Pump had enough power to knock Riachu don't for a while, which allowed Gyarados to finish it off with an Ice Fang.
Haz was one win away from his second victory when Emily pulled out a shock 3rd choice. The sweet faced girl produced a Pokemon as opposite as could be a Gyarados! The two Gyarados faced up; you could feel the electricity between them. After a long gruelling the two of them managed one last attack each, Hyper Beam. This was surely going to be the end for the one that was hit.
"Gyarados and Gyarados are unable to battle, Haz is the winner!" Said a voice from the built in speaker. Haz was overjoyed. He returned his Pokemon and praised it for an amazing performance. The two trainers meet up again in the lift and shuck hands.
The doors to the lift opened as they reached the Group A waiting room once more. This time Ash & Jimmy were already here, healing their Pokemon. Haz checked the table and too his delight saw that Ash had defeated Jimmy meaning Haz was through. 'Get in!' He thought to himself. But he knew he had to watch out for this Ash fellow. His Pikachu looked cute, but he knew it would pack a punch.
After healing up his Gyarados, Haz decided that he would try out some of his other Pokemon that were back home. He logged onto the PC and thought about his choices. Once he had made up his mind he transfered them to his party, sending back Gyarados and Charizard; he would have sent 3 back, but he always kept Umbreon with him, they had never been apart since it hatched as an Eevee.
Haz would now be facing his toughest opponent yet, Ash. They made there way to their way toward the battle field, shacking hands before taking their places, they both obviously respected each others ability.
The two took there positions on the Rough Terrain battlefield.
"Are the trainers ready?" Said the referee. The two trainers nodded. "Begin!"
The trainers threw a Pokeball each on to the field of play. Represting Ash would be Snorlax and for Haz,
"Aipom I choose you!" Haz had only caught this Aipom a couple of weeks ago but he thought it would be at a high enough level to take down Snorlax. The battle was harsh and Snorlax was strong. Aipom managed to dodge almost every attack it threw with its agility and double team. It seemed to be going well and Snorlax was tiring, until Aipom was hit by an Ice Punch attack.
"Aipom, I know you can do it!" Encouraged Haz. Aipom staggered to its feet and let out a huge cry and suddenly started to glow. Aipom evolved into Ambipom. This was just what Haz needed. From that point the battle turned again. Ambipom used its tickle attack along with its agility to severly lower Snorlax's impressive attack and defensive stats and then after a couple of Double Hits, Snorlax was finished.
The second battle was just as tough. The opponent decided to send out their Charizard. Haz returned Ambipom and sent out Golem. Haz knew he had a massive advantage and thought he could snag a quick win, he ordered Golem to get up close, bad mistake. Golem got closer and closer, unsuspecting that Charizard was building up for a powerful Dragon Pulse attack, just as it was closing in the foe's Pokemon unleashed a truely awesome move, leaving Golem K.O'd; no miracle this time around.
Haz sent out Ambipom again immediately using Fake Out; Charizard flinched which gave Haz the perfect moment to get Charizards HP down as much as possible. Ambipom unleashed a good Shock Wave which Charizard didn't like one bit, but it got Charizard back into action too. Ash commanded a Seismic Toss and Charizard flew up to Ambipom. Just has it was about to grab Ambipom, Haz told it to use Bounce, what a jump! Ampibom was airborn for a long time and came crashing down on Charizard, who didn't know what hit him.
"Now, one more Shock Wave!" Sparks flew from Ambipom and scored another supereffective hit on the foe. Charizard was down. It's trainer pleading for it to get back to it's feat...
"Charizard is unable to battle," Ambipom had done it again. The trainer recalled Charizard and before he could give a command, his Pikachu leaped from his shoulder and let off a huge Thunderbolt. Ambipom was K.O'd before it could even ready itself. Haz was looking worried now. 'What power!' He thought. It was time for another new comer to show Haz what he could do. Abra.
Abra came out of its Pokeball with its eyes closed, leaving the foe and Haz wondering if it was sleeping or not. Haz knew that it was no matter, Abra's can battle in their sleep using their Psychic powers.
The Pikachu unleashed another powerful Thunderbolt,
"Dodge it!" Haz yelled, just incase its hearing was effected whilst sleeping. Abra disapeared and re-appeared behind Pikachu. "Now Abra, Shadow Ball." The attack landed. Pikachu was done, but not out. It sure was gutsey. The battle continued for another 5 minutes, with each Pokemon thinking they had won it, only for the other to get back up; until... A Thunderbolt from Pikachu and a Shock Wave from Abra met in mid air causing a powerful explosion. Both Pokemon went down again; but this time on one got back up...
"Pikachu is out of the match, Abra is the winner!"
Both trainers ran onto the battlefield and held there Pokemon and thanked them for an outstanding battle.
"Great battle Haz," Said Ash, how had come over to shake his hand. Haz thanked him and said that he had been very unlucky and wished him all the best for the rest of his battles. Then they both returned to the waiting room.

Shad was surprised to learn that the other two people in his group were in fact twins. He wondered how they'd do without the support of the other. First he had to battle the girl, Beth, in the Double Battles room. This went off without a hitch. Gabite and Aerodactyl combining well to defeat her Graveller and Rapidash. First, Aerodactyl used Rock Slide, then Gabite used Earthquake to throw the grounded Boulders around, wiping both opponents out.
The boy, Adam was a little tougher. The silence room was a tricky one, so he picked his most intelligent pokemon, Charmeleon. Charmeleons Flamethrower was handy as luckily, Adam had used a Glalie first. It went down with hardly a struggle. His second pokemon was a little trickier, a Dragonair. Fortunately, Charmeleon knew its moves well enough to use Dragon Claw, doing massive damage without really taking a hit from Dragonair. The final pokemon was harder for Charmeleon, a Kadabra. Charmeleon tried to attack with a Flamethrower, but Kadabra's Psychic stopped it. Fortunately, Charmeleon wouldn't give up and finished off Kadabra with Dragon Claw.
When he got back to the waiting room, Shad saw the Group Table. He'd qualified first, Adam second. He knew the kid deserved it.
-------------------------------------------------------
Fal was nervous about his next battle. The trainer looked quite big, and he was in the double battle room. He hadn't prepared anythign for double battles, but he tried anyway. Before he sent out his pokemon, he planned what he was going to do. Gliscor and Tropius.
The opponent was using Staryu and Seadra. Not a great type match up for Gliscor. He told Gliscor to use Earthquake, but the other two were fast. Both used Surf, hardly dealing any damage to Tropius but they took down Gliscor. Now he was on the wrong end of a 2v1 battle. Tropius used Sunny Day, too late to help protect Glsicor, but it would help boost his speed. The next turn, Tropius went first. Using the sunlight, he unleashed a SolarBeam. The Staryu tried to Ice Beam him, but he used the SolarBeam bouncing off the Ice to hit both of the opponents at once, taking them both down.
By the time he had his last battle, Fal already knew a lot about the Rough terrain room, and was already planning what to do. he used Tropius first, hoping tot ake advantage of the arena effects by also using Sunlight to throw off the opponent. He used Sunny Day straight away, and the walls of sand made it impossible to see the opponent. Fal waited for the opponents move. It seemed tot ake an eternity, but eventually, he heard a crashing sound and a Meditite burst through the sand, trying to land a Force Palm attack. The sunlight and sand in its eyes made it miss, and Tropius used the opportunity to hit back with an Aerial Ace. Meditite tried a ThunderPunch, which didn't miss. Fortunately, it was only regularly effective, and Tropius was able to use Aerial Ace once again to finish it off. The rest of the battle went Fals way, Tropius managing to defeat both of the other pokemon with ease. He went to the waiting room to find out who he'd been abttlign enxt. he was excited to elarn that he'd qualified, and would be facing a kid called Adam in his next battle.

Back in the waiting room Haz checked the table- he knew he was through, but just wanted to make sure! After seeing his name on the table:
HAZ: 3 Wins, 0 Draws, 0 Defeats.
He was delighted. Just as he had just finished looking at the table, the receptionist called each trainer across one by one. Haz noticed that it was in order of position, last to first. Everyone had left the room when Haz had gotten to the desk. The receptionist congratulated him and asked for his Pokedex. The Pokedex was upgraded with data from the tournament so that he could use it to enter the knock-out stages tomorrow.
Haz left the Waiting room, and was heading outside when he thought he saw someone else he reckonised...

Shad was just leaving the Stadium for the night when he got the distinct feeling that someone behind him was watching him. He spun round. Stood there was a face he hadn't seen in a long time, and one that he'd hoped to find here.
'Haz! How the heck are you? I take it you'll be coming back for the tournament tomorrow?' Shad was smiling, for once.
--------------------------------
Fal heard the name Haz shouted out. He scuttled out of his tent, leaving Tropius to enjoy its special treat for fighting so well, and to guard his things. Bursting into the nighttime light, he could see two people stood talking. One was Shad, he kenw Shad was here but hadn't had chance to say hello. The other had to be Haz. He rushed over, grinning.
'Hey guys! Wow this is a proper little reunion.'

"Hey!" Said Haz, who couldn't believe that was reunited with his old friends; "So, how have things been going?" Shad, Fal & Haz, all discussed what had been going on in their lives since they split up in Hoenn.
"Well, no prizes for guessing that you both got through today, right?" Haz smiled.
Fal & Shad both nodded.
"Hey, it's only 4 o'clock, fancy going somewhere?" He asked.

'Definately!' said Fal. Shad knew it was pointless trying to hide how much he wanted to too, so put on a happy face resembling those of Fal and agreed. He also knew a few places to go in the area, but he waited to see if Haz had anything in mind. He hoped they wouldn't have to pass by his old house.
